NEW Stretch & Flex - Regular stretch & flex excises will help improve posture, range of motion, and strength; maintain joint mobility and flexibility; increase balance and stability; assist in stress release; and strengthen joints, muscles, and core. This class will help improve posture by strengthening and opening tight areas of the body, such as the shoulders and muscles of the upper back - perfect for golfers, tennis players, and anyone wishing to improve flexibility! Spinning - If you've got 45 minutes, we've got 800 sq ft, 15 Star Trac Spinners, the lights down low, and a variety of Spinning instructors that will get your heart racing, your muscles working and the sweat dripping as you speed, climb, jump and coast through your workout! Spin & Core – Jump start your day with this fun class. Half spinning and half core work. Gentle Yoga - Candy teaches our Gentle Yoga class. *Gentle yoga is meant for everyone! Yoga beginners and veterans, athletes desiring to improve flexibility and anyone at any age or fitness level can benefit from this practice of stretching, strengthening, and relaxing yoga. It is a slower paced practice, accessible to people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. This class removes any fears or challenges in doing yoga and creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort that fosters self-acceptance. Students with physical limitation are welcome; variations of postures and the use of props aid in each student’s yoga journey. Yoga for Stress – This is a happy hour, after work hours, yoga class for stress release. Tammy takes you through an hour of stress relieving yoga. Yoga Flow - Tammy teaches a dynamic system of practicing yoga postures, linking breath to movement. Builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations. Flow yoga is quickly becoming the most popular style of yoga taught in America today. Flow yoga modifies the poses for greater safety and gives lots of options in each pose so that everybody can feel uniquely and successfully challenged. Flow yoga can be practiced by everybody and brings the perfect balance of energy and calm to the body and mind. Power Yoga - The next level of yoga recommended for intermediate to advanced yoga participats. This is a creative, energizing, yet easy to follow, Vinyasa (Flow) style yoga class set to fun, upbeat music. Fluid transitions flow yoga poses one into another on a current of synchronized breath, naturally increasing full body strength, stamina, and flexibility, while calming and steadying the mind. With each class, students will find the poses coming with more ease and confidence. Rhonda has a real gift of offering options to each pose for students to enjoy the challenge and feel successful, allowing every student to benefit from each pose, at any level. True moving meditation in fluid flowing action, fully present in the moment. Intro to Power Yoga - Rhonda is available for special instruction and encouragement prior to the Power Yoga Class. New students can ask any questions while Rhonda goes over the basics and tips to be able to follow the modifications right for you. Regular students are welcome to come and get some extra help with the more challenging poses. Core Power Yoga - Vinyasa (Fluid Flow) style Yoga in harmony with Pilates. Offering a creative blend of yoga flowing sequences to build strength and endurance, combined with the Pilates Method of Core (The "Core" - the body's core postural muscles or the stabilizers of the body: the abdominals, hips, lower back, and thighs) conditioning to sculpt and tone the mid-section, promoting strong posture and longer leaner muscles. More freedom of movement for injury prevention, by improving flexibility, while counteracting the ill effects of tension in the body. Rhonda guides all levels in harmony, offering modifications to ease newcomers in the flow, yet challenges the more seasoned practitioners. Pilates - The goal of Pilates is overall body fitness, elongated supple muscles, and balance between body and mind, with all the parts of a person working as a whole. Pilates’ workouts focus first on developing strength through the core of the body--the back, abdomen and hips. This provides a foundation to continue working the rest of the body. Pilates is a very efficient form of exercise because you build strength, flexibility, and coordination all at the same time. Suitable for all fitness levels. Beginner Zumba - Andrea will break down the basic steps & talk you through the moves for a 30min. beginner ZUMBA basics class. Zumba - Fitness meets dance. Don't be afraid to try this class, because luckily, this high energy, free-spirited class is even for people who cannot dance. Everyone will interpret this class differently and while some people are simply copying the moves of the instructor, some people are adding squats, lunges, jumps or whatever move they can incorporate. You will be surprised at how much fun this class is, but beware, this class can be addicting! Gloria & Andrea will deliver differently styles of ZUMBA for you to enjoy. XL Power / One More Round - If you've ever been to Misty Ballard's class, then you know what to expect: high rep, low weights, own body resistance, plyometric options, and short distance sprint options. You will squat, lunge, push-up, jump, sprint and burn out your muscles with weights that usually seem too little to workout with and you will be dropping them, because your muscles are fatigued. Every level can do this class with low and high modifications for everything. You will feel every muscle in your body worked. One More Round stands for kick boxing moves that she incorporates into her XL Power that gets your body to "excel"! Kick & Core – Brittany takes you through an exciting full body workout incorporating kickboxing techniques and core work for all fitness levels. Step & Circuit - Christi incorporates a circuit workout into her high energy step class. (Awaiting her descriptions) Boot Camp - Anything goes in this class, from plyometrics to push-up to weights and Body-resistance moves, this class will get your heart pumping and calories burning for 1 solid hour. Abs Blast – 15min. of abdominal work. Buns & Abs – Brittany takes you through 30 solid minutes of buns and abdominal work. Beginner Toning - . Andrea takes you through a beginner toning class with hand weights, stability balls and own body resistance moves. All ages are welcome to take this class and take this class to your level as she guides you through a full body workout. Body Rip - Body Rip is for the fearless...people who want a high calorie burner and a challenge. Lezli Miles will put you through intense cardio, arms, abs, and legs workout with high reps and sets. This class will keep you moving from beginning to end. If you want intense, then Body Rip is the class for you. Come join in on this fun and awesome workout!!! Power Hour - Every Saturday morning, our instructors are on a rotation and the instructor for each Saturday will be posted on the website calendar, so you will always know who will be leading the class. Each instructor will give you their version of Power Hour and all that we have asked of them, is that whatever type of class they choose to instruct you in, whether it be step, sculpt, kick box or dance aerobics, that it be 1 Hour of Power. You will have variety each week, but one thing that will be consistent is a great workout each time! Cardio Theater - Misty Ballard & Lezli Miles take you through 1 hour of a "kick your rear" cardio workout. This class is limited to the first 36 people that show up each time. You pick your piece of equipment & your music or TV show of choice (TV's & mp3 compatibility on every machine) & she will warm you up, work you out, cool you down, stretch you out & encourage you through a workout that is as hard as you are willing to push yourself. Front Runners and Trail Blazers - Running Clubs meet Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday.
